Coal Power Plant

Ferro Alloys is a highly power intensive industry and therefore it requires quality power at a reasonable price. To overcome the difficulties in obtaining power, the Company is going to set up 120MW(2X60MW) coal based captive power plant at Bodepalli Village, Kagaznagar Mandal, Adilabad District, Telangana State. The necessary coal linkage has been obtained, required land is in place and other steps such as Pollution Control Permission, water and other facilities are obtained. For speedy implementation of the project, it is proposed to Hive off the unit into a Special Purpose Vehicle Company (SPV).
